2025 Scholarship and Award Applications

The Greater Long Beach Alumnae Panhellenic (GLBAP) awards scholarships to college students from the Long Beach area who are active in their National Panhellenic Conference (NPC)-affiliated sororities as well as alumnae who have returned to school.

Below please find links to the online applications for the 2025 Collegian Scholarship and the Dorothy “Jan” Jones Alumna Scholarship. You should review the forms and collect the requested information before completing and submitting your application. Also, you will need a recommendation letter from a sorority advisor (for the Collegian Scholarship)/alumnae president (for the Dorothy “Jan” Jones Alumna Scholarship), so you should contact her now to make sure that gets submitted as well.

The deadline to submit your application is Saturday, February 15, 2025. The GLBAP Scholarship Selection Committee will evaluate each application and all information will be kept confidential. This year’s winners will be contacted in late March and honored at the annual GLBAP Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

In addition to a recommendation letter from a sorority advisor, you may wish to also ask a philanthropic organization to submit information on your service to support the Carol Joan "cj" Donovan Legacy of Philanthropy Scholarship; if so, please share the Service Recommendation link below with a representative from that group.

Dorothy "Jan" Jones Alumna Scholarship

The Alumna Scholarship is designed to honor alumnae NPC sorority women who are pursuing graduate studies. For eligibility information regarding our Alumnae Scholarship, refer to the GLBAP Scholarship Application Instructions below.
