Alexia Holt - Delta Gamma - CSU Long Beach

Junior majoring in Accountancy

Inspired by her mother’s stories, Alexia knew she wanted to join a sorority. But she was curious how it would be to wear letters and what they truly meant. After moving to the Delta Gamma house, she experienced the benefits of sisterhood first-hand. A strong leader, Alexia was soon coordinating fundraising and community service events as well as educating her sisters on philanthropy. Currently, she holds the important role of chapter president. After graduation, she plans to do graduate work and become a CPA.

Catherine Li - Zeta Tau Alpha - CSU Long Beach

Senior majoring in Exercise Science/Kinesiology

An only child of immigrant parents, Catherine entered college having yet to find a place of belonging. However, that changed when she became a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, where she made friendships with sisters who celebrate her wins, both big and small. Catherine appreciates these connections are built on trust, vulnerability, unconditional support and love. She is passionate about all the memories she is building with them. Her career goal is to earn a master’s degree and become a physician assistant.

Valentina Vicarel - Delta Gamma - CSU Long Beach

Senior majoring in Business Marketing

Once paralyzed with fear in her dorm room, Valentina questioned whether she would fit in at a sorority. But she quickly learned that the biggest risks often lead to the most rewarding experiences. She has taken on a number of leadership roles through her college years and also enjoys mentoring new members of Delta Gamma, which she considers her second family. Her marketing, social media and event-planning skills have also benefitted Campus Panhellenic and led to increased participation in the Greek system.

Katja Crusius - Zeta Tau Alpha - Claremont Graduate University

Working on a Ph.D in Information Systems & Technology

Katja came to the U.S. from Germany for one semester abroad at CSULB. But that changed when she joined Zeta Tau Alpha, which became her home away from home. Now studying data science, her goal is to teach and perform research as a university professor. She is a leader in several campus organizations and serves as president of Claremont’s Student Senate. Katja is thrilled she has been able to stay active in ZTA. She plays a key role in the Long Beach Alumnae Chapter, supporting breast cancer survivors and coordinating participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks. She is proof that cherished sorority traditions are truly lifelong.
